The main entrance (off FM 1488 and Fish Creek Thoroughfare) will open in summer 2026.

What kind of amenities does Two Step Farm have?
Two Step Farm includes a mix of gathering places, green spaces and everyday conveniences:

Will Two Step Farm’s community hall be open to the public?
Two Step Hall is designed as a private amenity for residents and their guests. Occasional public events may be held in the early years. Residents may also reserve the hall for private events.
What is the noise and traffic mitigation plan for the Two Step Farm community hall?
Events are held inside a fully enclosed, sound-dampened building and typically end by 10 p.m. Traffic flow is designed to minimize impact on nearby homes, balancing activity with neighborhood quiet.
How will residents utilize the goat barn and community gardens?
The Goat Barn and Community Garden are shared, resident-focused amenities. Residents can participate in scheduled volunteer days, harvest events and workshops led by the farm team. There are no private garden plots.
What school district is Two Step Farm in?
Two Step Farm is zoned to Montgomery Independent School District. Current schools include Keenan Elementary, Oak Hills Junior High and Lake Creek High School. Learn more about the schools.
How big of a community will Two Step Farm be?
Two Step Farm is planned for approximately 2,000 acres and more than 4,000 homes. The first phase includes about 1,100 homes and is currently selling.
What does the HOA do at Two Step Farm?
The HOA maintains common areas and supports programming through the Community Life team.

What's happening with the Grand Lake Estates golf course?
The Grand Lake Estates golf course is public and will remain open to residents and non-residents. Future plans for homes adjacent to the course have not yet been finalized.
Will residents be able to have their own goats, chickens, or other farm animals on their property?
Backyard livestock and poultry are not permitted at Two Step Farm. This policy helps maintain sanitation, reduce noise concerns and protect the overall balance of the community.

What are the available home and lot sizes?
35-foot to 80-foot lots. The largest current lots (up to approximately .25 acres) are offered through Partners in Building. Additional lot sizes are planned in future phases.
